These “patriots” would rather withdraw from the Union than recognize the reality of a lawfully elected democratic government. I’m having visions of cranky children taking their toys and going home, telling their parents that they’d rather move than play with the other kids in the neighborhood….

As the founding fathers of the United States of America made clear in the Declaration of Independence in 1776:

Nantucket tried to secede from Massachusetts and become their own state about a decade ago.
We should let them succeed and then declare war against them and make them a colony and tax the ____ out of them and make Mitt Romney their governor. Not gonna happen, but it is reminiscent of the boy taking his baseball glove home because he couldn’t have things his way.

Marthas Vineyard started it and invited Nantucket to come along for the ride BUT it was because they lost their elected Representatives to the General Court of the Commmonwealth of Massachusetts (http://www.mvmagazine.com/2007/september-october/secession.php). Their fight was with the state and not with the Fed. They voted for Obama in 2012 and not for Mittens who is not sure where he has an official residence. Mr Weathervane indeed.
Guess the assaholic secessionists of Montana should take refresher course in US History. The Yankees did not wear colorful uniforms, just their old clothes, brown and black since they were farmers and tradesmen. These Montana secessionists seem to resemble today’s RC bishops who don’t know when to give up. Empty cans make the loudest noises.
